Community is about bringing people together for a shared goal or purpose. Non-profit communities, or community-led organisations, can be powerful things.
Building a community is achieved through recruiting members, inspiring, involving and empowering those members, and working with them to take action.
There are some fundamental principles that permeate through different models of community organising such as defining a clear vision or cause, and the importance of relationships based on trust and mutual interest.
We'll cover those principles, as well as investigating what a community really means, looking at why and how you would actually build a community, explaining how to transfer what you've built online, and examining some existing and successful non-profit communities.

Course Review
An outstanding course for those people wishing to work in Education, Social Services or Community work. It offers valuable insight into how to build sustainable relationships.
TEFL seems to hold the values of learners in higher esteem than the suffering public schools, with little, or no value to their students learning. TEFL is ACES in my book. I look forward to be a contributor of those values.
Very educational
